Director-Level Life Actuarial Role
Product-development build-out. Closer to a transformation build than a specialist pricing role because the startup is creating products, systems and processes as it grows.
Director-level Life actuarial role in Urbandale, Iowa, focused on developing and managing individual annuity products. You'll support product ideation, pricing, filings, administration and illustration systems, post-launch work, and rate-setting while partnering across functions in a startup environment.
Requirements:
Strongly preferred:
- 5+ years of actuarial experience with progressively more responsibility
- Concentration on Individual Annuities and/or Individual Life Insurance products
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related degree
- Working towards FSA and MAAA certifications
Nice to have:
- Actuarial product development, financial reporting, or reinsurance experience
