We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a non-profit organization in Brooklyn, New York. This is a Contract position focused on maintaining accurate records, entering numeric and text-based information efficiently, and supporting day-to-day administrative data tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with computers in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:
• Enter and update high volumes of information into internal databases and spreadsheets with strong attention to accuracy
• Review source documents carefully and verify details before recording data to help maintain reliable records
• Process numeric and text-based entries efficiently while meeting expected productivity and quality standards
• Organize digital files and maintain orderly documentation to support easy retrieval of information
• Identify incomplete, inconsistent, or missing data and escalate issues when clarification is needed
• Perform routine checks on completed entries to reduce errors and improve data integrity
• Support general administrative activities related to recordkeeping and information management• Experience performing data entry in a detail-focused environment
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information quickly and accurately
• Comfortable working with numeric data and large volumes of information
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate databases and spreadsheets
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while staying organized and focused
• Strong communication skills and reliability in a team-oriented setting
