Candidates who will require future sponsorship, including candidates on CPT/OPT/STEMOPT who will require future sponsorship, are not eligible to apply.Job Introduction:The Global Finance Technology organization is seeking an experienced Senior Data Integration Software Engineer to join the Data Subledger team within the OneGL program. Under limited supervision, this role is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and optimizing scalable data integration solutions within the LII OneGL ecosystem. This position will support production users and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the OneGL finance environment, with a strong focus on enabling the financial month‑end close process. Responsibilities include data analysis, debugging, and the modification, integration, and ongoing support of existing and new infrastructure.About the job:Leads initiatives to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability of our data pipelines and related systems, ensuring high availability and resilience.Supports testing cycles, develops complex test scripts, and assists coordinating test transactional data creation.Identifies and researches complex testing and defects within data integration.Identifies designs for functional and technical requirements (e.g., gap analysis, infrastructure, interfaces, enhancements, and/or conversions).Documents architecture development and standards.Identifies design elements of new business processes and application design.Uses testing tools successfully and documents test results for components within modules or business processes within a mixed team.Analyzes and prepares complex technology enabled recommendations to address technology gaps.Supports pieces of the implementation process such as post implementation support, cutover plans, and transition planning.Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor or Master`s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.Minimum 5+ years of Data Integration engineering experience.Minimum 3–5 years of experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, Redshift), BI tools, and building end‑to‑end data pipelines.Strong technical skills including data processing frameworks, ETL tools, SQL, Python, APIs, and large-scale system integration.Understanding of financial transactional flow, SAP general ledger concepts such as company codes, chart of accounts, accounting entries, coding blocks, profit centers, cost centers, ledgers, currencies, etc.Experience with CI/CD practices & Dev Ops Principles.Strong communication with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders with a proven track record of collaboration across multiple organizations, business partners, and stakeholders.Collaboration, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to manage time and prioritize work with a globally distributed development team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information.Good understanding of agile software development concepts and processes including backlog tracking, prioritization, strong collaboration within a scrum team, and adaptability through incremental delivery.Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker, have extensive consultative skills, including the ability to understand and apply customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design, the ability to define design reasoning, understanding potential impacts of design requirements.Strong negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills.Experience providing production support including troubleshooting issues, requirements gathering and solution design for enhancement requests, as well as implementing the solution.Experience within the Insurance or Finance industry is preferred.Understanding of SAP architecture and components: SAP S4/HANA, FIORI, Reporting, and SAP Finance touchpoints to other SAP modules is preferred.
