HR Coordinator / Recruiter

iWorld Professionals is seeking a HR Coordinator/ Recruiter for our client in Western NY. This is a remote position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in recruiting, candidate engagement, onboarding, and HR coordination.

You'll work closely with an experienced recruiting team and play an important role in creating a positive experience for candidates and new hires-from the first conversation through their first day on the job.

HR Coordinator/Recruiter Position Summary

In this role, you'll support both recruiting and onboarding activities, including:

• Source and identify candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, referrals, and other recruiting resources.
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate phone screens.
• Engage prospective candidates and introduce them to career opportunities.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Help ensure candidates have a positive and responsive recruiting experience.
• Prepare and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
• Assist with new-hire onboarding, paperwork, background checks, and employment eligibility documentation.
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee information within recruiting and HR systems.
• Serve as a resource for new hires and assist with routine onboarding questions.
• Track recruiting activities and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support additional recruiting, HR, and team projects as needed.

You don't need years of recruiting experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in staying organized and following through.

HR Coordinator/Recruiter qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, administration, customer service, sales, or another people-focused role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable speaking with new people and building relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional judgment and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Comfortable learning and working with recruiting technology, databases, and online sourcing tools.
• Self-motivated and dependable with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• A genuine interest in developing a career in recruiting and human resources.
