Job Captain

We're partnering with a well-established Southern California architecture firm seeking a Job Captain to join its collaborative team. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful institutional and community-focused projects from design development through construction, while gaining exposure to every phase of the architectural process. About the Role If you're a technically strong architectural professional who enjoys coordinating consultants, producing high-quality construction documents, and working in Revit, we'd love to connect. Responsibilities Prepare and coordinate construction documents using Revit. Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and permit drawing packages. Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants. Assist Project Managers and Architects throughout all project phases. Ensure drawings comply with California Building Code and ADA requirements. Participate in quality control reviews and document coordination. Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and field observations. Maintain organized project documentation and Revit models. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field. 3+ years of experience in an architectural firm. Required Skills Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD experience also preferred). Experience producing construction documents and coordinating consultants. Working knowledge of California building codes and accessibility requirements. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative environment. Preferred Skills Institutional, educational, civic, healthcare, or commercial project experience. Familiarity with SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, or Bluebeam is a plus.
