Accounting Manager

Full-time

Kforce's client, a growing life sciences organization located in Burlington, MA area, is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to support accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, FP&A, and eventually through an ERP implementation. This full-time on-site role is a high-visibility opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable taking ownership across multiple areas of Finance as right hand to CFO/ Controller. Client offers excellent compensation and benefits. Responsibilities:

Lead monthly and quarterly close activities
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements
Support tax provisions, compliance, audits, and external advisors
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis
Support ERP implementation, data migration, testing, and process improvements
Partner with Finance, IT, and operational teams
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
5-10 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong general-ledger and full-cycle close experience
Prior Life Sciences, Pharma or Biotech industry client base or experience strongly preferred.
Advanced Excel and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
