CT TechnologistProfession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night or Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT) required Must-Have: - 500 bed hospital experience - Experience with GE and Siemens FORCE scanners - Experience in inpatient, emergency room, and adult ICU settings - Familiarity with CT procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction - Ability to work with a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsDescription: RTO after booking is not allowed. No weekend RTO. Fast-paced environment in the emergency department. This role involves working with routine emergency department patients, as well as Code Stroke and trauma patients. The daily caseload ranges from 150-200 scans, and the unit has 4 rooms available for use. A typical caseload for one tech during an 8-hour shift is between 8-12 patients. Staffing typically includes 4-5 techs on the first shift, 2-3 techs in the evening, and 1 tech overnight. Weekend staffing consists of 2 techs. No call or float requirements are expected. Skills in outpatient procedures, IV starts, PACS, contrast media administration, and radiation safety are preferred. Equipment includes Siemens scanners, specifically the S3000 and Sequoia models. Knowledge of the charting system, Epic, is necessary for this position. Travelers may be accepted; first-time travelers are welcomed. Candidates should be fully available and committed to accommodate any possible scheduling changes. A commitment to complete any required pre-start modules is essential.
