Pay Rate: $ 1,700 To $ 1,900 per week

Schedule: Night Shift; 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week

Work Setting: Medical-Surgical / Adult / Mother-Baby

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Moab, Utah. The RN will provide direct and indirect nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from postpartum neonates to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, identify changes in clinical condition, and develop individualized nursing plans of care.

• Provide safe nursing care to medical, surgical, high-acuity, rehabilitation, skilled, pediatric, and mother-baby patients.

• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed nursing interventions while monitoring patient response.

• Educate patients and families while maintaining appropriate infection prevention and patient safety practices.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year of Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse Experience Required; 1 2 Years Preferred.

• Current, Unencumbered Utah Registered Nurse License or Active Compact RN License Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current NRP Certification Required; ACLS and PALS Certifications Required or Must Be Obtained Within One Year as Allowed by the Assignment.

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required; Must Be Comfortable Working 12-Hour Night Shifts, 7 Days On / 7 Days Off, Including Required Holiday Coverage.
