Job Description
Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - OB/GYN

Must-Have:
- Previous charge experience
- Experience with charting systems


Description:
Travel LPN for OB/GYN unit is needed.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience.
The role requires a valid state license.
COVID-19 vaccine is required, with exemptions allowed.
Flu vaccine is also required, with exemptions allowed.
Key skills include:
- Outpatient clinic or urgent care center experience
- Ability to obtain instruct clean catch urine samples
- Proficient in telephone triage and vital sign monitoring
- Capable of medication reconciliation and follow-up phone calls
- Understanding of laboratory result interpretation
- Ability to complete patient health questionnaires/history/allergies
- Experience with pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
- Familiarity with setting up aseptic/sterile procedure trays
- Knowledge of OB/GYN procedures, including Pap smears and pregnancy-induced hypertension
- Competence in handling cases of spontaneous abortion and vaginal bleeding
- Skill in vaginal specimen collection
- Proficient in administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections


Candidates should be prepared to coordinate with peers for coverage during requested time off.
Training for the EMR system will be provided.
Previous employees are not eligible for travel positions.
Return travelers may be eligible to return if in good standing.
