Role Description The Retail Team Member role at Target in Coeur d\'Alene, ID is an on-site position focused on delivering a welcoming, efficient, and friendly experience for guests. Day-to-day responsibilities may include greeting and assisting guests, answering questions, and providing product recommendations. Team members help maintain well-organized, clean, and well-stocked sales floors, operate registers, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges according to company policies. The role also involves following safety and loss-prevention guidelines, supporting promotional displays, and collaborating with peers and leaders to meet store goals. Scheduling, hours, and specific duties may vary based on store needs and department assignments. Qualifications Ability to provide excellent guest service, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, respectful approach to all guests and team members. Basic retail skills such as cash handling, point-of-sale operation, merchandise stocking, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to follow direction, support colleagues, and contribute to a positive store culture. Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, and safely lift or carry merchandise within reasonable weight limits. Attention to detail and willingness to follow safety, loss-prevention, and company policies and procedures. Prior retail or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
