Job Title: Yard Jockey (2nd Shift)
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities
Hours: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Monday–Friday; some weekends/overtime as needed)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Yard Jockey to join our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in moving and spotting trailers and box trucks within our yard, supporting efficient distribution and warehousing activities. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely move, position, and park trailers and box trucks throughout the yard according to operational needs
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Communicate efficiently with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and drivers to coordinate movement of units
• Maintain accurate logs and follow established procedures for yard management
• Support general yard organization and housekeeping
• Adhere to all company safety policies and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Proven experience driving and maneuvering trailers and box trucks
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled hours and overtime as required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
