Job Details Department: 37299 Carolinas Medical Center - LC: Infusion: Huntersville Status: Full time Hours per week: 40 Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-4:30 Pay Range: $44.15 - $66.25 Sign‑on bonus eligible: Yes Location Atrium Health Levine Cancer‑Huntersville Clinic, Huntersville, NC. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the nurse practices Three years of clinical experience with demonstrated clinical expertise and management abilities Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Oncology experience preferred Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses and phlebotomy preferred Oncology certification preferred Responsibilities Plans and supervises safe, efficient, and economical nursing care in compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory agency requirements Assesses delivery of patient care, assists with patient/family teaching, identifies problems, and makes improvements as necessary; conducts patient rounds or unit/departmental rounds Participates in providing patient care as necessary and assists in emergencies; assists grieving families and oversees disposition of deceased patients Additional Responsibilities Responsible for the direct provision of patient care and for assisting the manager with daily operations including coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, staff selection, development, retention, clinical supervision, performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
