Job Description

This role involves performing a variety of warehouse tasks with a strong focus on accurate picking and packing, shipping and receiving, inventory support, and general production-related duties. You will help ensure that orders are processed efficiently, products are handled safely, and inventory moves smoothly through the facility.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately according to established procedures and documentation.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials, verifying counts, and checking documentation.
• Support inventory tasks such as counting, organizing, labeling, and replenishing stock as needed.
• Assist with general production and warehouse operations to keep workflows running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility guidelines.
• Use basic computer systems to look up information, update order status, and record inventory or shipment details.
• Follow all operational procedures and work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete daily tasks and meet deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on picking and packing.
• Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving activities.
• Ability to support inventory tasks, including counting and organizing stock.
• Capability to perform general labor and production-related duties in a warehouse setting.
• Basic computer skills to navigate simple systems, enter data, and review order information.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling products and documentation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials as required for warehouse work.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse environment that involves standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift. You will work around racking, pallets, and material handling equipment while following safety procedures at all times. Basic computer stations and scanning or documentation tools may be used to track orders and inventory. Work hours typically follow standard warehouse shifts, and you will work on-site as part of a coordinated team to meet daily operational goals. Attire is practical and appropriate for a warehouse setting, with any required safety gear provided or specified by the facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Crestview, FL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
