About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading all financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and enforcing fiscal policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic oversight of the finance department. This includes a wide range of responsibilities such as financial planning, treasury, accounting, reporting, payroll, grants, procurement, and audits. The CFO will also be expected to partner with senior leadership to shape and execute financial strategies that bolster the organization's long-term financial health. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years' of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years', or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years' in finance, accounting, auditing, and general ledger management. A CPA, CGFM, or CGMA designation is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in executive leadership, particularly in a government setting, and extensive experience with federal contracts and compliance. Knowledge of specific legal frameworks and experience with accounting and fund accounting software are also essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, and the ability to work in interdisciplinary environments.
