About the Role

• Develop and implement public relations programs that build brand awareness and drive earned media coverage
• Identify and develop story opportunities that align with Rocket's brand narrative and business objectives
• Initiate and maintain strategic media relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry contacts
• Write press releases, articles, and pitch story ideas to secure media placements and speaking opportunities
• Plan and manage press tours, conferences, events, and award submissions
• Monitor media coverage and analyze PR metrics and outcomes to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategy
• Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging, brand voice, and communications across all public relations initiatives

About You

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing public relations campaigns
• Proficiency with media databases, monitoring tools, and PR analytics platforms

• 2+ years of experience in public relations, agency work, or related field
• Experience with media strategy, media list development, and earned influencer campaigns
• Portfolio of creative consumer PR work or successful campaign examples
• Experience with award submissions, conference speaker preparation, or event management

The compensation for this position is $57,000.00-$121,500.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off. Compensation and benefits are subject to modification from time to time as the Company, in its sole and exclusive discretion, deems appropriate. The Company may determine during its future reviews of the proposed compensation and benefits provided for this position, that the compensation and benefits for such position should be reduced. In no event will the Company reduce the compensation for the position to a level below the applicable jurisdictional minimum wage rate for the position.
