DEALER TRADE DRIVER

Ed Martin Automotive Group is looking to add a Dealer Trade Driver to our growing team! Dealer Trade Drivers transport vehicles between dealerships, auctions, and customers, ensuring safe, timely delivery while maintaining vehicle condition. Key duties include inspecting vehicles, verifying paperwork, following traffic laws, and providing professional customer service. This is a part-time role and requires a clean driving record. You will also shuttle customers to work or home as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely driving vehicles from one dealership to another, or to auctions and service centers.
• Verifying vehicle identification numbers (VIN), checking for damage, and ensuring paperwork, keys, and accessories (wheel locks) are transferred.
• Delivering vehicles directly to customers and picking up vehicles for service.
• Checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring vehicles are clean.
• Driving "chaser" vehicles to pick up other drivers, often working flexible hours including weekends.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Clear and Valid Driver's License
• Ability to follow instructions
• Positive attitude
• Clean driving record
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Familiarity with GPS, navigation systems, and basic vehicle inspection
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
