Position Overview Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking a Manager 2, Program Planning on our Schedule Management team. This leadership role is located on-site in Melbourne, FL. Roles and Responsibilities Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts Perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews Develop direct team knowledge and depth Prepare, develop and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives. Ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated. Provide weekly status and reporting Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits Implement scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: DCMA 14-point IPMR DI-MGMT-81861 NDIA EIA-748 32 Guidelines Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Critical Path Methodology (CPM) Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis Perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis and make recommendations to solve problems Create presentation content and present to various levels of leadership Work effectively with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience; OR Master’s degree with 5 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience OR Associate's Degree with 9 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience Knowledge of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development; Schedule Risk Experience and knowledge in both EV Cost and Schedule Management Experience with the Assessment (SRA) approach and execution Maintain final adjudicated US government Secret clearance (must be in‑scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
