This isn't just a job, it's a chance to drive meaningful change and help define the future of our communities.In the role of Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to:Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the projectCoordinate with necessary team membersDevelop and monitor project metricsParticipate in project coordination meetingsConduct project site visits if applicableConduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviewsDevelop cost estimatesPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects (or equivalent), preferably including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports.Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST.Ability to interpret construction schedules.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.The capability to actively progress knowledge in the areas of: oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills, coordination and prioritization of multiple long and short-term tasks, organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.HDR is our company.
