Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker for the 1st shift from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Review sales orders to determine items to be picked, packed, and/or shipped.
• Transport materials and items from receiving to storage racks or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product.
• Pull materials from sales orders or requests for materials and distribute items to converting operations.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station for shipping.
• Scan bar codes and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh, measure, and/or count materials to ensure conformance to company quality standards.
• Follow company procedures for packing and protecting products during shipping as noted in customer order instructions.
• Use computer or bar code scanner to enter records, track material, and control inventory.
• Compile worksheets, inspection records, and certificates of conformance or other required information per customer specifications.
• Drive forklift to transport material.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally to dust or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may require hearing protection. This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Grand Rapids,MI.
