The posted compensation range of $30.00 - $43.50 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float/Flex Team, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery while presenting a positive attitude and being reliable. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. • Conducts care assessments and interprets assessment data to determine care needs and constraints in meeting these needs.
• Successfully completes system-based and hospital specific competencies.
• Maintains accurate documentation of observations, treatments, teaching, medications, care given, patient response, and integrates into plan of care.
• In collaboration with patients and families (as defined by the patient) the Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing and administering care to the patient. Implements plan of care based upon established standards of care/practice, policies, and procedures, incorporating cultural, religious, psychosocial, physical, and age-related issues.
• Possesses knowledge of medications, and administers safely and accurately.
• Appropriately delegates and supervises routine technical functions to non-licensed and licensed personnel.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing and Minimum two years of experience as an RN in an acute care facility, upon hire and
• For Critical Care areas, two years of Critical Care experience and
• For Telemetry areas, one year of Telemetry and
• Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 - months and
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing and For Telemetry areas, two years of Telemetry, upon hire

Welcome to Saint Joseph East, a 217-bed, full-service, community hospital located in a convenient setting in Lexington, Kentucky. Saint Joseph East also includes the Women's Hospital at Saint Joseph East which is dedicated to supporting the well-being of women in Central and Eastern Kentucky and serves a 16-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
