Primary Registered Nurses manage an assigned caseload of patients. They lead the interdisciplinary team responsible for caring for those patients. Care is provided wherever patients call home, including private homes, nursing homes, group homes, or assisted living facilities. Hospice nurses flourish in an environment that fosters personalized care. The Primary Registered Nurse has a standard weekday schedule with occasional back-up for weekends and on-call duties.
