Your future role at a glance Location: Centerville, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Hickman Department: Respiratory Care Schedule: PRN | Days How you'll make an impact in this role Assess patient needs to develop and implement precise respiratory care plans based on specific diagnoses. Expertly manage and monitor high-level respiratory equipment and treatments, adjusting protocols based on patient outcomes. Act as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life‑saving intervention during critical codes. Vigilantly monitor and document patient conditions, ensuring the medical team is informed of real‑time changes. Empower families with the knowledge to manage health conditions and connect them with vital community support resources. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
