Marketing Administrator - Portland

Carson is looking for a Marketing Administrator who enjoys variety, adapts quickly, and thrives in a hands-on environment. This role provides exposure to a wide range of marketing activities across both digital and traditional channels. Success in this position comes from being willing to contribute wherever help is needed, learn new skills, and support the team in both creative and operational capacities.The Marketing Administrator will support marketing campaigns, events, communications, content development, project coordination, vendor relationships, and administrative functions. Responsibilities may include assisting with creative projects, organizing marketing materials, coordinating event logistics, processing purchase orders, tracking projects, building content, supporting campaigns, and helping ensure marketing initiatives are executed effectively from concept through completion.This position requires someone who is comfortable balancing both the exciting and less glamorous aspects of marketing. One day may involve working on content, creative assets, campaigns, or event planning. Another day may involve organizing materials, coordinating logistics, handling administrative tasks, arriving early to support an event, or assisting with setup and cleanup activities. Experience with project management software is helpful, but a willingness to learn new systems and adopt team workflows is more important. Rather than specializing in a single area, the Marketing Administrator will gain exposure to many different aspects of marketing while developing skills, building experience, and taking on increasing levels of responsibility over time.Duties and Responsibilities include:Proofing documents and creative contentPost to social media accounts and manage online presenceResearch products and venues for potential marketing opportunitiesSupport events, including coordinating logistics, vendors, and promotional materialsReport metrics from marketing campaignsProcess invoices and seek bids for marketing materials and servicesAssist in branding efforts, including coordinating with vendorsAttend and support events, including tradeshows, customer appreciation events and excursionsQualificationsAssociates degree in marketing or administration nice to have but not required1 year of experience in office administration or marketing supportProficiency in Microsoft OfficeSolid organizational and task management skillsStrong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and ability to travel as neededWork Environment/Physical RequirementsFrequently operate a computer.Interact with others in person, over the phone, and via other devices.Move about the facility to access storage, trailers, documents, office machinery, and other equipment.Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning while lifting weights of less than 25 pounds.Data entry while seated for greater than one-half (1/2) hour.Ultimately, this is a role you can grow into and your duties, marketing responsibilities (and compensation) will grow with demonstrated aptitude and dependability.
