Mike's Red Tacos is looking for energetic, dependable leaders who are ready to hit the road and help launch new restaurants across the United States. As a New Restaurant Opening Shift Leader, you'll be part of our opening support team, traveling to new locations and helping train teams, execute opening plans, and ensure every restaurant opens the Mike's Red Tacos way. When not traveling, you'll work from our Pasadena Corporate Store & Training Center, supporting daily operations and preparing for future openings. What We Offer $23.00–$30.00 per hour (plus tips while based in Flagship Training Restaurant) New Restaurant Opening bonuses Company-paid airfare, hotel accommodations, and travel expenses Opportunity to travel across the United States Work alongside Operations, Training, and Leadership teams Hands-on experience opening new restaurants Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding brand Home base at our Corporate Store & Training Center in Pasadena What You’ll Do Lead shifts and support restaurant operations Travel throughout the United States supporting New Restaurant Openings Spend up to 3 consecutive weeks onsite helping new restaurants prepare for and execute successful openings Coach and support restaurant teams during training and opening periods Drive speed of service, food quality, cleanliness, and guest experience standards Ensure food safety and operational standards are consistently followed Support opening teams during one of the most exciting phases of restaurant growth Model Mike's Red Tacos culture, values, and standards every day What We’re Looking For Restaurant leadership experience preferred Shift Leader, Key Holder, Assistant Manager, or Team Lead experience is a plus Willingness and ability to travel frequently Ability to spend up to 3 weeks away from home supporting restaurant openings Strong communication and leadership skills Positive attitude and team-first mindset Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments Reliable transportation and ability to travel by air Ready to Join the Opening Team?
