Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

• Job Setting: Inpatient; Call Only (Beeper Call)
• Types of Cases:
  • Low risk pregnancy
  • High risk pregnancy (preferred)
  • FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
  • OB Ultrasounds - performance and interpretation (Level I/II preferred)
  • Routine delivery - vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
  • Complicated delivery - C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Office/minor gynecology - IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
  • Surgical gynecology - open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
  • Average deliveries per year: approximately 90

  • Phone Consults per shift: 2
  • Patients Seen per shift: 2
  • Admissions per shift: 1

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications:
  • ACLS - Required
  • BLS - Required
  • PALS - Required
  • Fellowship - Required
• Licensure: Active California medical license required, will consider IMLC
• Credentialing: Estimated timeframe of 90 days; temporary privileges available; facility will reimburse licensing costs
