Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, identifying strengths and areas for growth.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical moments, ensuring clients feel secure and understood.
• Educate clients and their families on treatment options, helping them navigate the recovery journey.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of client progress, interactions, and treatment fidelity in compliance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals in the detox process and their families, focusing on providing compassionate care and support during a challenging time in their lives. Understanding the complexities of substance use and co-occurring disorders, you will help clients build the skills they need for lasting recovery and successful reintegration into society.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in the state of Virginia.
• Proficient in conducting assessments and devising treatment plans that address complex psychosocial issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in clinical social work, ideally within a detox or addiction treatment setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the social determinants of health impacting client recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
