Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging services in a hospital setting, specializing in vascular and breast studies. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care through accurate imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations, including vascular and breast studies, utilizing GE Logic E10 and E9 machines.
• Ensure proper preparation of patients and explain procedures to facilitate cooperation and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update electronic medical records using Meditech EMR.
• Adhere to safety protocols, dress code, and department policies while delivering imaging services.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
• Comply with certification requirements and maintain current ARDMS RVT/RVS credentials.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
• Hold ARDMS certification with RVT/RVS credentials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in vascular and breast imaging procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
• Capable of handling rotating on-call responsibilities and adhering to schedule requirements.
