Field Reimbursement Manager, Advanced Parkinson’s

Parkinson’s Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) (field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city) Responsibilities Educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools and services Educate on product‑specific acquisition and access options (e.g., specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution) Educate on resources available to address access issues Provide local expertise on national/regional payer policies (payer issues, coding changes, and claims submission processes) Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in rare disease with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement Demonstrated understanding of rules, regulations, and risks related to providing reimbursement support services Thorough understanding of technical payer policy processes/systems for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines Strong ability to communicate technical coding and billing requirements at national/regional levels across care settings Comprehensive understanding of Parts A,B,C andD (Medicare) and associated reimbursement dynamics Strong understanding of drug acquisition/dispensing in rare disease space (Part B DME, Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies/Distributors, etc.) Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and compliant interaction Excellent territory and account management skills Bachelor’s degree Driving a personal auto/company car or truck or powered material handling equipment; valid driver’s license; pass pre‑employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements Satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements for entry into facilities in assigned territory (including items such as background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses) Benefits Paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) (eligible employees) Eligible for long‑term incentive programs #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
