Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring House Poultry Maintenance workers for a food production company in Bloomfield, Nebraska. In this role, you'll help maintain poultry houses and production equipment to ensure efficient daily operations. This is a hands-on maintenance position offering stable, full-time employment with a well-established food manufacturer. If you enjoy mechanical work, troubleshooting equipment, and working independently, this opportunity could be a great fit.

What You'll Do as a House Poultry Maintenance:

• Perform preventative maintenance on poultry house equipment and systems
• Maintain conveyors, collection systems, fan gearboxes, belts, chains, and related equipment
• Complete general building, grounds, mill, and facility maintenance projects
• Assist with mowing, landscaping, and manure handling duties as needed
• Collect and dispose of deceased birds and assist with fly control and trash removal
• Work closely with supervisors and production team members to minimize downtime
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What You Need to Bring to the House Poultry Maintenance Role:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Good mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience
• Welding and cutting torch knowledge required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain a Nebraska Class A CDL license and meet DOT requirements
• Ability to work at heights and in dusty agricultural environments
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when needed #SMNCareers
