1. Grooming Dogs

   • Most cuts are documented or suggested by customers and must be done without harm to dogs or outside of customers requests.

2. Brushing and Combing :

   • To keep dogs’ coats healthy and shiny, bathers may need to brush and comb out tangles and debris.

3. Trimming Nails :

   • Responsible for trimming the dogs’ nails, which is essential for their well-being.

4. Cleaning Ears :

   • Dog bathers use ear-cleaning solutions to remove dirt and debris from dogs’ ears.

5. Monitoring Well-Being :

   • Being observant, they watch for signs of distress or illness in the dogs and report any concerns to supervisors or veterinarians.

6. Maintaining a Clean Work Environment :

   • This involves cleaning and sanitizing the bathing area and equipment, as well as organizing and stocking supplies.

7. Handling Customer Inquiries and Concerns :

   • Interacting with pet owners, dog bathers provide information about grooming services and address any issues that arise.

8. Accurate Record Keeping :

   • They track the dogs they’ve groomed, record services provided, and note supplies used1.
