Job Description

Minnehaha Country Club is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fine Dining Food Expeditor to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the tables, providing our guests with an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely completion and delivery of food orders.
• Review all food orders for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Ensure all food items are appropriately garnished, plated, and presented according to our high-quality standards.
• Manage multiple food orders simultaneously, prioritizing based on guest preferences, timing, and table assignments.
• Work closely with the kitchen to monitor food preparation times and adjust as necessary to maintain optimal service levels.
• Verify the correct table numbers and seat positions for each food order, ensuring efficient delivery.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food service areas.
• Assist servers with delivering food to tables when necessary and provide additional support as needed.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to continually improve processes and enhance the overall dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining service etiquette and standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate between the kitchen and serving staff.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make quick, accurate decisions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
