At OUC, each position contributes to the success and achievement of our goals.The ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GED (required).Associate's degree in Business, Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field of study from an accredited college or university (preferred).Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the electrical power generation field (based on area of assignment), (required) to include:Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Power Plant Operations as a Control Center Operator I or the equivalent journeyman level power plant operator (based on area of assignment);Experience in Power Plant operations (operations area of assignment); orMinimum two (2) years of experience in Power Plant maintenance (maintenance area of assignment);Experience in a power production journeyman or master technician role working in the maintenance and operation of commercial grade generators ranging in size from 5 to 4300 kilowatts (preferred).OSHA safety guidelines training or exposure (e.g. OSHA 30, etc.) (preferred); Technical training related certifications (CompTIA CTT+) (preferred);Valid Driver's License.Must be able to obtain Class A CDL license if necessary.OUC offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package. In alignment with OUC's compensation practices, starting salaries typically fall within the first half of the range (minimum to midpoint).
