Compensation: $49 - $53 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Working Concrete Foreman to lead our field crews and ensure our projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Role Overview: As a Working Concrete Foreman, you will be the driving force on the job site. Please note: This is a hands-on, working foreman position, not strictly a supervisory role. You will be expected to work side-by-side with your crew, pouring and finishing concrete, while simultaneously overseeing daily field operations and managing crew members. If you have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of concrete construction procedures, and the ability to maintain productivity while actively performing the work and resolving on-site challenges, you will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate activities of workers engaged in concrete construction projects including curbs, curb & gutter, curb ramps, sidewalks, color/stamp concrete, flatwork, concrete walls, foundations, and other concrete structures.
• Read, layout and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure work is completed according to design.
• Schedule labor, materials, and equipment required for each phase of construction.
• Ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and identify any corrective actions.
• Lead, train, and motivate crew members; assist in performance evaluations.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding project progress and issues.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and records of materials used.

Experience

• Minimum 5 Years of experience in civil concrete as a foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of elevations, grading, paving, and concrete construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural plans, specs to assure accuracy of construction.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in construction software a plus
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and commitment to job site safety.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Union Membership: Must be willing to join the union.
