Rental Service AssistantThis is a part-time position, working approximately 25 hours per week 7-days per week, including nights and weekends at $15.15 an hour.The Rental Service Assistant is responsible for supervising facility rentals during events to ensure safety, security, and a positive experience for all guests.Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Open and close the facility, ensuring spaces are prepared for rental useMonitor the event to ensure safety, security, and compliance with rental policiesProvide basic assistance and customer service to renters and guests as neededReport any maintenance, safety, or behavioral concerns to the appropriate staffEnsure the facility is left clean, orderly, and ready for future useInterface directly with the public to coordinate facility rentals, providing excellent customer service while upholding organizational policies, safety standards, and facility use guidelinesManage day-to-day interactions with facility rental clients, balancing hospitality and relationship-building with the consistent application of facility policies and contractual requirementsRepresent the organization in all facility rental interactions by delivering positive customer service and ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and usage agreementsHealth & Safety:Adheres to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley's policies and proceduresDemonstrates sound judgement and decision-makingMaintains Club equipment and property to ensure they stay in good working orderAdditional Responsibilities:Supports and mirrors the culture, mission, values, and core beliefs of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley.Promotes an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity.May include assisting with food program.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Ability and Skills - Required:Must be at least 18 years old.High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and cooperative working skills.Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite and be comfortable adapting to new technology.If 21 or older, maintains a valid driver's license and meets eligibility requirements to drive Club vehicles.Safety oriented mindset.Recommended:Ability to earn and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.Working Conditions and Driving:Some travel required between BGCAZ Branches, schools and community sitesExpectation of Excellence:Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley supports a culture of excellence in all we do and all employees are expected to reflect these values in their daily responsibilities.
