Radiology Technologist - PRN

Role Overview This position involves operating radiology equipment and performing routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Perform radiologic procedures following safety standards and physician requests. Select and compute appropriate technical settings for each patient. Develop and implement treatment or procedure plans according to hospital protocols. Complete documentation to ensure compliance with policies. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Participate in performance improvement activities and collect quality data. Achieve assigned goals and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of a recognized Radiology Technology Program. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R)) or pending certification for new graduates. Preferred: Associate degree in a related field. Thorough understanding of radiologic principles and techniques. Ability to follow instructions and organize work efficiently.
