About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement to spearhead a strategic and comprehensive approach that enhances philanthropic support, fosters deep alumni connections, and ensures that donor engagement is in line with the institution's mission and priorities. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the President, Board of Trustees, and various campus leaders, and will be responsible for leading a team that builds and maintains relationships with alumni, donors, and volunteers. This role demands a collaborative and trusted leader with a proven track record in advancement, particularly in fundraising for large, complex organizations, and experience in leading comprehensive campaigns. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in advancement, with at least 5 years specifically in fundraising. The role requires a leader who can inspire confidence, and is adept at building the necessary relationships, systems, and culture to support the long-term success of the institution. The ideal candidate will have a background in strategic planning, and volunteer leadership, and be able to align donor engagement with the company's mission and priorities. This is a high-profile position that demands a strategic, externally engaged individual with a proven ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
