Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to become part of our expanding multi-specialty practice. This role is entirely outpatient, concentrating on delivering comprehensive endocrine care, supported by strong internal referral networks and extensive clinical assistance.

Our Endocrinologists are experts in diagnosing and managing hormone-related issues, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic diseases. This position provides a unique chance to develop and enhance endocrinology services within a highly collaborative, physician-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care for patients with endocrine disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions.

• Diagnose and manage hormonal imbalances through clinical evaluations, lab results interpretation, and imaging as necessary.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle counseling.

• Provide ongoing care for chronic endocrine conditions, focusing on prevention and effective disease management.

• Work closely with primary care physicians and specialists within our integrated network.

• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and care coordination.

• Option to perform in-office procedures such as thyroid ultrasounds and fine-needle aspirations, depending on interest and experience.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

• Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina.
