The unit has 24 bays available for patient recovery. The staff typically includes a charge nurse, several RNs, CNAs, and sitters. The expected patient ratios vary between day and night shifts. The unit utilizes electronic medical records through a specific system. Candidates must possess essential skills relevant to post-anesthesia recovery. A strong fit for this role includes excellent communication and teamwork abilities. The role may include participation in a call rotation. The required dress code consists of navy blue scrubs.
