Vac Truck Driver/ Worker

Job Description Job Description * Key Responsibilities & Duties * Operating Equipment: Operating vacuum trucks, pumps, hoses, and high-pressure water systems to extract water from storm drains, tanks, wells, and separators. * Transport and Disposal: Transporting collected waste-water or sludge to approved disposal sites, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. * Maintenance & Inspection: Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, cleaning the truck after jobs, and maintaining hoses, pumps, and vacuum systems. * Job Site Safety: Following all safety protocols (OSHA), including using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), managing traffic control, and identifying potential hazards. * Documentation: Completing daily logs, waste manifest reports, and job tickets. * Requirements & Qualifications * License: Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement. * Experience: Previous experience operating vacuum trucks, hydrovac equipment, or working in industrial cleaning/environmental services. * Physical Ability: Must be able to lift at least 50-60 lbs and work in all weather conditions, including wet, humid, and extreme heat. * Technical Skills: Knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, * Typical Work Environment * Outdoor Conditions: Working in outdoor environments (construction sites). * Physical Demand: Involves standing for long periods, bending, and working in confined spaces.
