Assistant Controller

We’re looking for an Assistant Controller to help lead the finance function within a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role combining financial reporting, controls, planning, cash flow management, and team development with direct exposure to plant operations. What You’ll Own Maintain accurate financial reporting, accounting records, and internal controls Lead financial planning and support business planning processes Oversee cash flow, AR/AP, collections, and disbursements Strengthen financial systems, procedures, and operational controls Partner cross-functionally with operations and other departments Support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives Coach and develop members of the finance team What We’re Looking For 5+ years of post-qualification industrial accounting within manufacturing Degree in accounting, business, or a related field Professional accounting designation such as CMA, CGA, CA, or equivalent Strong financial analysis, controls, and accounting knowledge Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced plant environment Why This Opportunity High-impact role supporting both finance and plant operations Broad ownership across accounting, controls, planning, and cash management Leadership opportunity with cross-functional visibility Strong fit for a manufacturing finance professional ready for increased responsibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
