Highlights Location: Akron, OH Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Department/Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You’ll Do Deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. Interact directly with patients and their families to enhance their experience. Provide healthcare education as needed. Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs. Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care. Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions. Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary. Document in patients’ medical records. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience New grad or less than one year of RN work experience required. Experience RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience. Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
