SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Machinist for a large manufacturing client located in Garland, TX. We are currently seeking a highly skilled EDM Machinist Programmer to join our growing team. If you have experience with travelling wire EDM machines and enjoy working on complex tooling and machining SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $25-$30 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist

• Set Up & Program: Set up and program traveling wire EDM machines using ESPRIT software.
• Operate Machines: Operate EDM equipment efficiently while maintaining precision and quality standards.
• Support Tool & Die Work: Collaborate with the progressive tool and die team to produce high-quality components.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on EDM
• machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Precision Work: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Safety & Organization: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Preferred Qualifications of the CNC Machinist

• Experience: Proven experience as an EDM Operator, particularly with traveling wire EDM machines.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in ESPRIT software for machine programming.
• Tool & Die Knowledge: Solid understanding of progressive tool and die manufacture
• Proficiency in SolidWorks a plus.
• Machining Expertise: Strong machining and milling experience.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision, accuracy, and quality control.
