CT Technologist

Schedule

This is a 12-hour day shift position, scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. No weekend or holiday work is required.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures on both adult and pediatric patients, excluding interventional radiology, which is limited to adults. The technologist will work in all areas of imaging and is required to provide excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT imaging procedures for adults and pediatric patients.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to, including radiation safety measures.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain patient records and assist with charting information in the EMR system (EPIC).
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide necessary explanations about the imaging process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in CT (preferred).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• West Virginia State License as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Must be able to start IVs as required for imaging procedures.
