Service Technician (Crane/Heavy Equipment)

About the job Service Technician (Crane/Heavy Equipment)

Fast-growing overhead crane manufacturer. We are looking for a motivated individual with 3-5 years industrial electrical/mechanical experience to perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment. Involves regular local and regional travel to worksites.

Key Responsiblities

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment.
Perform inspections to OSHA/ASME criteria.
Troubleshoot crane systems: electrical circuits, equipment malfunctions, etc.
Assemble and repair complex machinery.
Complete all appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

Skill & Experience

MAINTENANCEELECTRICALMECHANICALWELDINGBLUEPRINTTROUBLESHOOTING
High school degree or equivalent preferred
Experience crane technicians or electrical/mechanical experience and a desire to apply to the crane industry.
3-5 years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience required.
Experience troubleshooting 480v 3-phase motor control systems a plus.
Ability to work independently.
Some computer proficiency preferred.
