SVP is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Estimator/Salesperson. With a focus on providing exceptional painting services to homeowners, we're looking for someone who can bring their expertise in both estimating and sales to the table. Responsibilities: Schedule appointments with homeowners to assess and quote their painting projects. Conduct on-site evaluations, walking through the home with homeowners to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. Utilize our software and quoting calculators to generate detailed quotes on-site. Guide homeowners through the sales process, emphasizing selling and closing estimates on-site with a goal of achieving a 50% closing rate or higher. Assist in lead generation through cold calling and door-to-door efforts when not conducting estimates. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless project execution from estimation to completion. Requirements: Proven experience in sales and or estimating. (Bonus* if it's within the trades industry.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with homeowners. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating. Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively to close sales. Experience or willingness to engage in lead generation activities such as cold calling and door-to-door outreach. Familiarity with using software and quoting calculators for estimating purposes. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Eagerness to learn & willingness to attend sales trainings.
