Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments and monitor youth health needs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond to medical concerns, injuries, and urgent situations
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records
• Communicate with providers, facility staff, and care team members
• Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and nursing protocols
• Promote a calm, professional, and supportive care environment

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN License
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to remain professional in a secure setting
• Correctional, pediatric, behavioral health, or emergency nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
