Introduction

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Consultant with extensive experience in functional and manual testing within the Capital Markets domain. This role emphasizes backend testing, data analysis, and SQL proficiency to ensure the integrity and quality of large-scale financial platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8-10 years of QA experience in enterprise financial applications.
• Strong experience in Functional and Manual Testing.
• Capital Markets domain experience is highly preferred.
• Strong backend testing and data validation experience.
• 5 years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Python scripting for QA/data validation.
• Experience with Test Management tools (ALM or similar).
• Performance testing of backend processes/jobs (not UI performance).
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Integration, Backend, and Data Validation testing.
• Validate complex financial data flows.
• Execute SQL-based backend validations.
• Investigate application logs and troubleshoot processing issues.
• Work closely with developers to resolve defects.
• Drive QA activities proactively with minimal supervision.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of complex financial applications.
