Talent Acquisition Specialist
Jered
Talent Acquisition SpecialistAs part of PAR Systems, Jered is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is excited to help build the skilled workforce behind our manufacturing and field service operations. With a strong focus on hourly manufacturing and skilled trades recruiting, you'll help us find talented welders, fabricators, machinists, assemblers, and field service professionals who contribute to the complex engineered solutions we deliver to our customers. This is an onsite position based at our Brunswick, Georgia facility, supporting recruiting needs across our manufacturing operations in Brunswick, GA, and Portsmouth, VA, as well as our remote field service locations. You'll work closely with leaders across these teams, gaining firsthand insight into their operations and building the relationships needed to attract and hire great talent. Travel of up to 35% may be required at times to support recruiting activities, hiring initiatives, and business partnerships across locations. Our continued growth depends on having great people with the right skills and finding them takes more than posting a job and waiting for applications. We need a resourceful, curious, and relationship-driven recruiter who enjoys getting out into the business, learning what makes our teams successful, and finding new ways to attract great talent.Building strong relationships is at the core of who we are. You'll develop meaningful connections with candidates, production supervisors, hiring managers, and other business partners. By spending time understanding our manufacturing operations, the skills required for different roles, and the challenges of the local labor market, you'll become a trusted recruiting partner who helps our teams make informed hiring decisions. You'll balance the urgency of filling open positions with the importance of finding people who can succeed and grow with Jered.Great manufacturing talent isn't always actively looking for a new opportunity. Your creativity and persistence will help you reach skilled welders, fabricators, machinists, and other production professionals through job boards, referrals, local networks, technical schools, community partnerships, and direct outreach. You'll look beyond traditional resumes and job titles to recognize transferable skills, relevant hands-on experience, and the potential for someone to succeed in our manufacturing environment.Your curiosity and willingness to learn the work behind our products will set you apart. You don't need to be a welding or manufacturing expert, but you'll be eager to understand different processes, equipment, certifications, and technical skills so you can have credible conversations with candidates and hiring managers. Whether you're recruiting an experienced welder or someone earlier in their manufacturing career, you'll help candidates understand the work, our expectations, and what makes Jered a compelling place to build a career.Candidate experience matters, especially in a competitive skilled labor market. You'll be one of the first impressions candidates have of Jered, helping them navigate the hiring process with clear communication, timely follow-up, and an authentic understanding of the opportunities available. You'll recognize that many hourly candidates have different schedules, availability, and communication preferences, and you'll adapt your approach to make the recruiting process accessible, responsive, and engaging.Recruiting is both an art and a science, and execution matters. You'll manage full-cycle recruiting activities, from sourcing and screening through interview coordination, selection, and offer. You'll balance multiple openings, changing production priorities, and time-sensitive hiring needs while keeping candidates and hiring managers informed. Your organization, initiative, and attention to detail will help ensure a consistent and efficient hiring process. You'll also bring a continuous-improvement mindset to how we attract and hire talent. By staying connected to the local labor market, tracking recruiting activity and results, and listening to feedback from candidates and hiring managers, you'll help identify opportunities to strengthen our sourcing strategies, improve hiring processes, and build sustainable talent pipelines. You'll be willing to try new approaches and leverage technology, including AI, to make recruiting more effective without losing the personal connections that matter.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.2–4 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, sourcing, or related Human Resources experience. At least 2 years of experience supporting full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate management.Experience recruiting for hourly manufacturing, production, skilled trades, or industrial roles preferred, particularly welding, fabrication, machining, assembly, or related disciplines.Demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, direct outreach, community partnerships, and other creative recruiting channels.Interest in learning manufacturing processes, technical skills, and trade-specific qualifications to better understand hiring needs and evaluate candidate experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with hourly candidates, production supervisors, hiring managers, and internal partners.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, changing priorities, and time-sensitive hiring needs.Demonstrated initiative, persistence, curiosity, and willingness to try new approaches and leverage tools, including AI, to improve sourcing, efficiency, and recruiting impact.Ability to partner with hiring managers, ask thoughtful questions, adapt as business needs change, and provide practical guidance on recruiting strategies, candidate availability, and hiring processes.Familiarity with local skilled labor markets, technical schools, apprenticeship programs, or workforce development partnerships is a plus.Experience supporting recruiting in a manufacturing, industrial, defense, or engineered-products environment is a plus.Ability to work onsite at our Brunswick, GA facility while supporting recruiting needs across multiple manufacturing and remote field service locations.Ability to travel up to 35% as business needs require, including occasional visits to our Portsmouth, VA manufacturing operation and recruiting career fair events.US PersonYou've learned about what you'll be doing, here are the benefits you'll gain when you join our team:Global team recognized for their passion of inventingFirst-of-a-kind product culture and project exposureTraining and development from industry-leading expertsCutting edge benefit programs that include: 401(k) & matching; Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; Disability & Life Insurance; PTO, Paid Holidays, & Parental Leave for both Parents; Tuition ReimbursementJered, a PAR Systems company is an equal opportunity employer and we value individuals with a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
