TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required. Acute Care Rehab experience preferred. License: Active license required. Certifications: BLS required. EKG compliance exam required. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred. - Epic EMR experience required. - Ability to float between facilities as needed. Description: This position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week during the day. Every third weekend and holidays as needed are required. Nurses will be subject to float between all campuses when necessary. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of recent nursing experience. First-time travelers will not be considered. Key responsibilities include the interpretation of laboratory results and medication reconciliation. Nurses will be responsible for patient health assessments, including vital signs and health history. Dressing changes and setup of aseptic/sterile procedure trays are part of the duties. The role includes specimen collection, including capillary draws and phlebotomy. Telephone triage and handling pharmacy calls/patient refill requests are expected. Experience in caring for patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological diagnoses is required. The unit provides specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs following major medical events. Patient ratios are generally 1:6, with occasional assignments of 1:7 based on acuity. Staffing includes access to interdisciplinary support services, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Nurses must pass an EKG compliance exam with two attempts allowed. All candidates must submit an application with required documentation.
