Surgery Scheduling Coordinator

Description Responsible for scheduling surgeries and following the process, ensuring patients and guests are greeted and registered. Responsible for posting payments and adjustments. Monitors billing and collections on a daily basis. Requirements Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression. Computer/PC experience. Medical office reception experience preferred. Background in Medical Terminology preferred. Outstanding public relations/customer service experience. High level of personal presentation. Ability to maintain accuracy with interruptions. Ability to use sound judgement and cope with potentially stressful situations. Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values .(e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect). Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence. Ability to work with little or no supervision, and a minimum of instructions.
